Keilor Stock Shootout Photos

Ok, I have taken many photos of all the competitors cars at the Stock Shoot Out and Invitational held at the Keilor track. I must congratulate the club on a very well laid out track, it certainly was a nice surprise from the last years Coleman Cup.The new track layout lent it self to a little risk taking, those brave enough to attempt the double double were rewarded with a nice margin coming onto the straight and hence a good run into turn one. The tight turns up and down really sorted out the car’s setups. The day in my opinion was a smooth operation apart from ( and we all have experienced this) the usual call for marshals. The racing was excellent across all classes, very close in some cases and no quarter was given, I know this because I have the evidence!. It was my first Stock Shootout and I truly enjoyed every lap.
All the results can be found on the club website. Well done to all who raced and not forgetting those that are there to help run the event in any capacity.

A Big Weekend of Aussie Racing

It was a huge weekend of RC racing around the country on the Australia Day Long Weekend!  However I wasn’t amongst the racing myself, so as I have said before, we are looking for regular contributors to Aussie RC to help us cover all of these fantastic events.

On the weekend just gone, there was the 1:8 Nitro AARCMCC Neo+ Champs down in Tassie,  the Nitro on Road Victorian Chaps at MRCCR, the Keilor Stock Shootout, the 1st Round of the SEQ 12th Tour and the Australia Day Cup at Pine Hills.  There was even a little international race somewhere overseas that facebook is full of as well 😉

So if you know RC, and have some time to write some articles, Contact Us ASAP via the Contact Us page.   Knowledge of wordpress helps, but it isn’t essential.

New Associated B5 Twins First Drive

No, not me i’m afraid, although I have to admit that I am liking the look of the B5M, and for the first time find myself contemplating the purchase of a Team Associated vehicle!

It is RC Car Action that has the scoop this tome, for a stack of videos, photos and information, hit up their website at

I know, Aussie RC News is looking a little AE heavy at the moment, but it isn’t every day that such a legendary platform is released!
